He was born in the town of Al-Attar in Sudair, where he grew up until completing secondary school.
He attended the Internal Security Forces College for one year.
He enrolled in the College of Education at King Saud University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, specializing in Psychology and Sociology.
He was appointed to the Ministry of Civil Service on the first of Sha'ban, 1397 AH.
He attended the Institute of Public Administration for two years and obtained a diploma in Administration and a diploma in English.
He completed several courses in Administration, Planning, and Personnel Affairs for over a year and a half in the United States, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Oman, and Dubai. He also attended several courses and workshops within the Kingdom.
He progressed through various government positions until he reached the rank of Assistant Undersecretary, holding the position of Advisor, from which he retired.
