This book is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab region to comprehensively address invasive plants. With the Kingdom's significant progress towards achieving its goals within the framework of Vision 2030, which includes sustainable development and environmental conservation, the management of invasive and non-invasive plants has become of paramount importance. These plants represent a major environmental challenge in the Kingdom, particularly in the area of preserving natural vegetation. Despite this threat, understanding and studying them can lead to the development of new methods for managing and adapting these plants, if managed correctly, rather than relying solely on control and eradication. We hope this book will be a first step towards a deeper understanding of this complex subject.
