About the Authors
Mark Moreno is a fifty-nine-year-old assistant professor of architecture at Andrews University's School of Architecture and Interior Design. As he gets older, he wants to spend his time enhancing his intellectual pursuits and skills.
Professor Moreno holds degrees in architecture from Harvard University and the University of Texas at Arlington. He has taught at four universities, worked in several architectural firms, and lectured on creative and practical education. His academic work emphasizes many aspects: placemaking, the relationship between the individual and the environment, and kitchen and bathroom design. In 2011, he received the Daniel A. Augsburger School of Teaching Excellence (from Andrews University).
He shares his expertise extensively within his community to promote walkability, accessibility, and a sense of place.
